Dollars allocated by our city shape nearly every facet of public life—our libraries, parks, housing, infrastructure, public safety, and more. Yet, Omaha residents are left in the dark as the city writes, amends, and passes budgets year after year with little outreach or plan for meaningful participation. Now, it’s time to take our voices back.

This year, we’re excited to announce the People’s City Budget Workshop Series. Brought to you by Strongly Worded Letters, the Redress Movement, Youth Elect, and Culxr House to bring the budget and testimony process to you through a series of workshops and activities from community organizers here in Omaha.
