We’re launching a community canvass as part of our petition campaign to call on Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO) to remove all of the onsite "fill" at their Michigan City coal plant. This fill material contains toxic coal ash that is currently seeping into Lake Michigan, endangering our water, communities and aquatic life. Coal ash, the waste product from burning coal for electricity, is incredibly dangerous and known to cause health problems, such as asthma, heart disease and cancer.

WATER IS LIFE, and we must protect it!
