Call to Ask Your Assemblymember to vote "YES" on the Packaging Reduction Act!
The Packaging Reduction & Recycling Infrastructure Act is moving and we need your help to ensure that your Assemblymember votes YES to reduce plastic pollution, packaging waste, climate emissions & toxic chemicals, and save taxpayer dollars. Hurry!
1. Dial the Assembly Switchboard at 518-455-4100 and ask to be connected to your Assemblymember’s office. If you’re not sure who your Assemblymember is, click here to look them up.
2. When someone answers, please use the suggested script below:
“Hi, my name is __NAME__. I’m a constituent calling from__TOWN/CITY__ to urge the Assemblymember to please vote YES on The Packaging Reduction & Recycling Infrastructure Act (A5322-b) and to insist that the requirement for a 50% reduction in plastic packaging over 12 years remain intact - anything less would make the bill ineffective.”
