This year marks the 11th annual observance of Purple Thursday, the awareness day launched by the DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence that’s now gone national with Purple Thursday observances across the country. It’s simple; all you have to do is wear as much or as little purple as you possibly can. Then send us photos of you, your family, your pet, your office and whoever else joins for a chance to win Purple Thursday prizes.

We’ll be awarding organizations and individuals in multiple categories including: best DCCADV member program, most spirited, cutest critter, and largest group.

In order to be eligible to win, you must be: 1) Located in the DC metro area,  2) Follow the DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence on social media (Twitter, Facebook + Instagram), 3) Tag the Coalition in your posts & 4) Submit an official photo to the Coalition.
