Rally to Protect the Arctic Refuge
Join Sierra Club Connecticut and Arctic Refuge Defense Campaign partners on November 10 to tell Travelers Insurance: Take a stand and cut ties with the companies drilling in the Arctic!
When projects are too inherently damaging and risky to ecosystems and humankind -- like plans to drill in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge -- no insurance company should be involved. And when insurance backs out, companies cannot drill.
We've been putting pressure on Travelers all year, with actions at their headquarters, letters, and social media. Now, join us in delivering the thousands of petitions that have been collected to their CEO calling on them not to underwrite oil and gas drilling in the Arctic.
We'll hear from speakers working on this campaign, then deliver the petitions. Dress warmly!
