Let’s be clear: Millions of Americans had already voted for the next president before RBG died, but Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham and Donald Trump are packing the court at a breakneck speed. Less time has passed between RBG’s death and now than between Antonin Scalia’s death and the nomination of Merrick Garland.

Multiple members of the Judiciary Committee tested positive for COVID, then appeared at the hearings maskless. Others, including Chairman Graham, REFUSED to be tested. Graham violated the committee’s rules on a quorum to hold votes over the objections of Democrats. And Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the Ranking Democrat on the committee, gave him a hug:

Since the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, democratic donors and activists have shattered fundraising records. The American people wanted a fight, while Feinstein presided over a coronation.

The Supreme Court with Barrett on it would be deadly to health care, reproductive rights, voting rights, civil rights, and more. She has even indicated that she believes Social Security is unconstitutional.
