ROE Act Advocacy Day

Join us to pass the ROE Act and protect abortion access in Massachusetts!

In many states, access to abortion is hanging on by a thread. Donald Trump and politicians like him are stopping at nothing to ban abortion. But in Massachusetts, we are pushing forward. Our grassroots coalition has been hard at work alongside elected leaders who are championing the ROE Act—a bold piece of state legislation that not only re-affirms the right to safe, legal abortion, but guarantees it is accessible and affordable to all people.

We can do this – but we need you with us. Join us on November 14 and urge your lawmakers to pass the ROE Act.

Meet us at the 32BJ SEIU Meeting Hall (26 West St, Boston, 02111) at 11 AM to hear from advocates and participate in a brief advocacy training. Then we’ll head to the State House to meet with lawmakers and encourage them to swiftly move this important bill forward. See below for accessibility options.

As the Supreme Court reconsiders harmful state policies that impede access to abortion and shame patients, Massachusetts has an opportunity to be a leader in health care access and reproductive rights. Let’s work together to make this a decisive moment for reproductive freedom in the commonwealth and pass the ROE Act!

Timing

While Advocacy Day officially kicks off at 11 AM, your voice is too important to miss out. Join us when you can, for however long you can, to speak with your lawmakers and explain why you support the ROE Act.

Accessibility

The walk from our kick off at 32BJ to the State House is approximately 7 minutes. If you would prefer not to move locations, we invite you to instead join us at the State House at 11 AM to watch a livestream of the speaking program and training. Please indicate that you will be using that option when you register.
