Witness for Peace is pleased to offer delegation scholarships for participants on our delegations to Colombia, Cuba, Honduras, Mexico and Nicaragua. Delegates who receive scholarships are asked to volunteer their time and skills in exchange for the scholarship, as well as share their experience with the donor who made the scholarship possible. Scholarship funds should be a part of broader personal fundraising work, and there are additional fundraising ideas in our Fundraising Packet. Past delegates have a very successful record raising the funds needed to participate on a delegation

Applications are due two months before the delegation is scheduled to leave the US. Financial assistance is limited, so applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

Applications will be reviewed based on the following criteria:

• Financial need.
• Your plan and commitment to use your delegation experience as a way to educate, inspire and mobilize others for action.
• Your work on political issues and community involvement.
• Enhancement of the diversity in the delegation.
