Sign if you agree: Allow Syrian refugees into the United States

After Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad dropped chemical weapons over 80 Syrian civilians (including children), President Donald Trump ordered air strikes on Syria.

Whether or not military action is justified, Assad is killing his own people—and it is our moral imperative to allow Syrians refugees who are fleeing this violence a safe haven.

An estimated 11 million Syrians have fled their homes in recent years. However, Trump and other Republicans have repeatedly denied entry for Syrian refugees, using the hateful pretext that these refugees supposedly present a threat.

Worse, Trump's anti-Muslim travel ban (found unconstitutional by the courts) even explicitly barred Syrian nationals from entering the United states.

It is time to stop turning our backs on refugees.
