White House press secretary Sean Spicer has resigned—after a tumultuous tenure where he repeatedly lied for the Trump Administration and disrespected journalists.

But the new guy—Wall Street hedge fund executive Anthony Scaramucci—is even worse.

As a Trump campaign adviser back in October, Scaramucci equated an Obama Administration regulation that incentivizes sound financial planning with the Dred Scott decision.

When asked to explain why this has anything with the 1857 Supreme Court decision that said black slaves were three-fifths human, Scaramucci explained: “The left-leaning Department of Labor has made a decision to discriminate against a class of people who they deem to be adding no value."

Scaramucci was considered for a job before Trump’s inauguration, but ethical concerns over that sale kept him from taking a seat at the cabinet table. Now, apparently, Trump has decided that either Scaramucci has sufficiently cooled off or, more likely, ethics no longer matters.
