A couple of days ago, Republican Rep. Devin Nunes used his position as the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee to publicly leak and undermine the ongoing investigation of ties between Russian intelligence and Donald Trump's presidential campaign.

This is a clear violation of ethics and shows, at the very least, an incompetence to perform the task at hand. Rep. Adam Schiff, the ranking Democratic member of the House Intelligence Committee, has called for Nunes to recuse himself from the Russian/Trump investigations.

So far Rep. Nunes refuses to do so. This is unacceptable as our country's national security is in question, and there should be absolutely no reason for partisan politics when it comes to easily-justifiable investigations into our government's personnel.
