Slovenia, Ireland, the Netherlands and Spain have already decided to boycott ESC 2026 because Israel is allowed to participate. It is high time for Luxembourg to join this boycott .

The slogan of the Eurovision Song Contest, “Unity through music,” leaves more than just a bitter aftertaste when one of the participants has been an occupation power for decades and is committing ethnic cleansing and genocide. The ESC is not just a musical competition. States compete against each other under their flags, which makes it highly political. Luxembourg must not be part of an event where Israel whitewashes itself on the ESC stage while people are starved and civilians are killed in the Gaza Strip.

Luxembourg has until mid-Decembre to reconsider its participation, so the decision has not yet been taken. Sign and share this petition to increase pressure on the broadcasters as well as the government that funds them to prevent Luxembourg from taking part in ESC 2026!

Le slogan du Concours Eurovision de la chanson, « Unity through music », laisse un arrière-goût particulièrement amer lorsqu’un des participants est une force d’occupation depuis plusieurs décennies et commet des nettoyages ethniques et un génocide. L’Eurovision n’est pas seulement une compétition musicale. Des États s’affrontent sous leur drapeau, ce qui en fait un événement hautement politique. Le Luxembourg ne peut pas faire partie d’un événement où Israël se livre à un blanchiment d’image sur la scène de l’Eurovision alors que des personnes meurent de faim et que des civils sont tués dans la bande de Gaza.

Le Luxembourg a jusqu’à la mi-décembre pour reconsidérer sa participation, la décision n’a donc pas encore été prise. Signe et partage cette pétition pour mettre la pression sur les diffuseurs et le gouvernement qui les finance afin d’empêcher le Luxembourg de participer à l’Eurovision 2026 !
