Congress needs more Democrats who are willing to fight Wall Street' especially on issues like student loans.

South Dakota state legislator Paula Hawks is running for Congress. Hawks is a former teacher whose passion is education and she will work in Congress to address student debt and better our education system.

"On a national level, I'll be approaching education from a different perspective," she said. "We send our college students off to college and tell them, ‘The dream is there. GO get a college education and the job will be waiting for you ' but while you're doing it, we're going to strap you with these student loans at incredibly high interest rates.' We need to start taking care of our young people and providing opportunity and fairness for them at every step. That will be my path for education. "
