The voices of Hip Hop are speaking out for Mr. Leonard Peltier, with artists like Common, Killer Mike, and Talib Kweli calling for his freedom.

Peltier is a Native American activist unjustly serving two life sentences in a maximum-security federal prison for his alleged role in the deaths of two FBI agents during a shootout on the Pine Ridge Indian reservation in South Dakota in 1975.

The prosecutors in Peltier’s case have admitted they do not know who killed the agents and could not prove Mr. Peltier committed a crime that day, yet he remains incarcerated.

At the age of 79, this miscarriage of justice is turning into a death sentence for Leonard Pelier, and we need the justice system to right these wrongs and release Peltier for the remainder of his life.

Hip Hop Caucus is joining our allies in calling on the United States Parole Commission to free Leonard Peltier now! Sign the petition today >>
