Sign the petition: Investigate and expel Elise Stefanik from Congress

The only thing we know for certain when it comes to George Santos is that he is an unrepentant liar and grifter.
However, no one gets to Congress on their own—especially an unknown like Santos. Enter House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik.
According to reports, Santos’ lies were kind of an open secret among Republicans. That didn't stop Stefanik, who as the third-ranking House Republican is the most influential elected member of the GOP in New York, from using her prolific fundraising prowess to convince donors to support his campaign. Many people reportedly contributed to Santos because she endorsed him and aggressively campaigned on his behalf.
Without her validation, Santos may not have made it to Congress. So it begs the question: What did Stefanik have to gain by supporting him?
Santos is not the only reason Stefanik should be expelled. She was catapulted to a top House Republican leadership position after the GOP purged Liz Cheney from the role as punishment for speaking out against Donald Trump's violent attempted coup. Stefanik has since proven to have no moral boundaries whatsoever, eagerly embracing the farthest-right conspiracy theories culled from QAnon, from neo-Nazi groups, and other extremists.
The Nassau County Republican committee and other prominent Republicans have publicly denounced Santos. Stefanik has been suspiciously quiet. If nothing else, her ties to Santos must be thoroughly investigated. If it's found she also knowingly defrauded voters, she must also be expelled from Congress.
