Our generation is facing the democratic crisis of our lifetime. The January 6th insurrection and the failure of the U.S. Senate to pass the Freedom to Vote John R. Lewis Act exposed how fragile our democracy is. And in a series of devastating blows to the Voting Rights Act, even the Supreme Court of the United States proved that it is unwilling to prevent our democracy from reaching a breaking point.

Our politicians have failed us. But unlike them, we have no choice but to continue fighting. For the past year, our team has worked with young people across the country and some of our generation’s most prominent movement leaders to develop a movement DNA that will reimagine the fight for voting rights and electoral justice.

THIS SPRING, we are ready to re(launch) GenVote and spark an intersectional youth-led movement that fights for our right to vote and a just democracy for all. We will launch Hubs and Teams across the country to empower young people to reclaim our democracy and make electoral justice a major priority for our generation.

We believe that it’s up to our generation to achieve a truly multiracial and just democracy for all people in this country. Are you ready to spark the movement?

Join us on Saturday, April 9th, 2022 from 12-3 PM EST at Howard University for the DC training session of GenVote's Movement School to learn more about the DNA of our movement, our game plan for the next 365 days (and beyond), and the next steps that YOU can take to reclaim our democracy and make electoral justice a major priority for our generation.

All participants should complete the registration form. If attending in-person, location and time TBA. Virtual participants will be sent the zoom link following registration.

NOTE - IN ORDER TO ATTEND THE TRAINING IN PERSON YOU MUST SHOW PROOF OF VACCINATION FOR COVID-19.
