UMAW Philly is a newly-formed local branch of the Union of Musicians and Allied Workers, which "aims to organize music workers to fight for a more just music industry, and to join with other workers in the struggle for a better society." UMAW National has been behind a number of large scale music industry campaigns over the past year, including the Justice at Spotify action.
