On May 1st 2025, the employees of GraphicAudio LLC, a division of RBMedia signed authorization cards to unionize with the Communications Workers of America, and despite RBMedia pushback, overwhelmingly voted to unionize on August 1st 2025.

We unionized to make our workplace better and to protect the quality of the dramatized audiobooks that we and fans worldwide adore. We unionized because we love the work we do at GraphicAudio.

Last week, 22 lives were upended when RBMedia laid off half of our bargaining unit, including the entire bargaining committee, in a blatant attack on workers’ rights.
