I grew up and still live here so I have a deep personal connection to the area and am well known. I am standing because there are local issues which have been neglected as long as I can remember which I could finally tackle and that it is crucial to get a progressive and climate aware councillor on a council which is currently lead by a climate denier and which is actively regressive on issues like diversity."
