Join us in demanding action for real democracy!

The 4th of July marks a year since the most disproportional election result in British history. It’s time to make it clear: we need a politics that reflects the people it serves.

Across the weekend 4-6 July, people up and down the country will take action to demand real democracy, aiming to reach 100,000 people.

Six in 10 people are represented by an MP they did not vote for. We have a government elected on just a third of the vote, and Mayors who won with the backing of under 10% of their electorates. In 2029 there is a real risk we could wake up to a government that more than 7 in 10 people voted against.

Are you comfortable with one party speaking for Britain alone?

We won’t stand for this any longer. We need a voting system that builds trust, not destroys it.

It’s time for a politics that reflects the people.

• A proportional system where seats match votes
