SistaSoul Search 2020: Call for Proposals Submission Form

Soul 2 Soul Sisters is excited to announce our 3rd Annual SistaSoul Search Retreat for Black Womxn. This year’s retreat aims to offer a space for Black Womxn to engage in a full day of conversation and activities centering Black Womxn’s access to pleasurable experiences.

Date of Gathering: Saturday, December 12, 2020

Submission Guidelines:

We will be utilizing a virtual platform for our gathering. Please consider how your workshop will be participatory, interactive, and engaging for conference attendees.

We invite proposals from artists, advocates, activists, organizers, and scholars alike.

Workshops should not exceed 75 minutes including time for dialogue. Proposals must include the goals, proposed activities and expected audience size for the workshop.

We are looking for proposals in all areas and interpretations of pleasure.

Submission Deadline:

We will be accepting submissions until Nov. 13, 2020 at 11:59 PM (MST). The Soul 2 Soul Sisters Team will be reviewing workshop proposals and confirming workshop presenters by Nov. 20, 2020. All accepted facilitators will be paid generously for their contributions because we believe in #PayBlackWomxn!
