Companies like Amazon, Instacart, Family Dollar, Food Lion, McDonald’s, Walmart and Whole Foods are thriving amidst the COVID-19 pandemic as more Americans cook at home, limit in-person trips to grocery stores, or seek easy drive-thru dinner options.

Unfortunately, their workers are paying the price — putting themselves in harm's way to cook, package up, and deliver food and other household essentials without paid sick leave policies, proper health protocols, or "hazard pay" increases in wages.
