Survey on the State Employee Vision Insurance Benefit
The public employee bargaining unit representatives on the Joint Labor Management Committee on Health Insurance seek your feedback on the current vision benefits provided by the State/SEGIP.
Currently, the State's Vision insurance plan is administered by Blue Cross Vision Plan in partnership with Davis Vision. Vision insurance is an optional coverage that state employees can select during Open Enrollment, with employees responsible for paying 100% of the premium.
The Blue Cross Vision Plan is designed to complement the state’s medical plan. While the medical plan covers eye exams, the optional Blue Cross Vision Plan provides coverage for prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses.
