Americans are demanding that their elected officials stand for progressive values. This won’t happen in New York until we take back the State Senate and unite a progressive legislature.

New Yorkers voted for a Democratic State Senate. The only reason Republicans have control is because of support from a handful of Senators -- the Independent Democratic Conference (IDC) who were elected as Democrats but have formed an alliance with Republicans. In the era of Trump, we need to let them know this can no longer stand.

The time has come for them to make a decision: join the progressive mainline Democratic Conference, or be voted out of office.
