Community organizing groups have a long history of standing up for working families and fighting on behalf of communities across New York state. But now Governor Andrew Cuomo is trying to destroy them.

Cuomo was quoted as saying “if unions or anyone else give money to these groups, they can lose my number.”

Andrew Cuomo is threatening to destabilize some of the most effective organizations building power for immigrants, tenants, the working poor, and all New Yorkers. Let’s tell him his bullying and threats won’t stand.
