Tell Congress: Hold Big Tech Accountable

Hold Big Tech Accountable

The House Judiciary Committee just advanced a series of bills intended to constrain the monopolistic powers of Big Tech companies like Amazon, Facebook, Google and Apple.

If signed into law, these bills will help bring choice and control back to the consumer and stop the oversized influence these companies have on our economy, our politics, and our daily lives. These bills aren't perfect, but they're a helpful step in the right direction and progressive groups will be working to strengthen them as they move through Congress. That said, Big Tech’s lobbyists are going into overdrive right now to stop these bills from advancing any further, prioritizing profit over people's lives.

It's far past time to pass legislation that curtails the power of Big Tech – but that won’t happen without overwhelming grassroots support.

We need your help to center the experiences of women, Black, Indigenous, and people of color, and LGBTQ voices in the fight for choice and consumer protections. Big Tech has dictated our lives for far too long, dividing communities and promoting racist, misogynistic, transphobic, and homophobic voices.

Big Tech platforms also put kids at risk of social media addiction, deceptive and excessive advertisements, bullying – and even sexual predators!

Sign the petition and tell Congress to strengthen our antitrust laws and hold Big Tech companies like Apple, Amazon, Facebook, and Google accountable.
