Tell Congress: Pass a Corporate Profits Minimum Tax so that large, profitable corporations don’t pay $0 in federal income tax

Each year, many large, profitable corporations get away with paying little to nothing in federal income tax. In fact, last year Netflix paid just 1.1% in taxes on $5.3 billion in profits.

Americans for Tax Fairness research shows that by implementing a 15% Corporate Profits Minimum Tax, we can raise $320 billion over 10 years, which can be used to lower healthcare costs, make childcare more affordable, invest in education, housing and more.

According to a polling memo released by President Biden’s pollster this week, “Two-thirds of voters believe raising taxes on the wealthiest and corporations will help the economy.”

This is a winning issue with the American people. We just need Congress to act!

Sign the petition and demand Congress implement a 15% Corporate Profits Minimum Tax so corporations with annual net income over $1 billion don’t get away with paying $0 in federal income taxes.
