Tell the Biden Administration: Stop new oil drilling in the Arctic!

The Willow Project, a massive half-billion barrel crude oil extraction project planned by ConocoPhillips, was rushed to approval by the Trump Administration. Recently, a judge in Alaska vacated the project's approvals, and it must go back to the approving federal agencies for re-review. This is a critical moment for the Biden Administration in its fight against climate change. A project of this size would devastate the fragile ecosystem of the Alaskan Arctic, and make it impossible for the Biden Administration to meet its goal of getting the US to zero-net emissions by 2050. The Bureau of Land Management is currently soliciting comments from the public about the project. Add your name to submit your comment.

The petition to the Biden Administration reads:

"The Willow Project planned by ConocoPhillips would devastate an already fragile ecosystem, harm local indigenous communities, and make it nearly impossible to meet the Biden Administration's own goals to achieve zero net emissions by 2050. Please reject the Willow Project."
