Tell the DOJ: Act swiftly to arrest and prosecute Steve Bannon after the House vote holding him in criminal contempt of Congress

The House Select Committee investigating the January 6th insurrection unanimously voted to hold Trump’s former campaign manager, advisor, and podcasting cheerleader Steve Bannon in criminal contempt for ignoring their subpoena.

Bannon’s refusal to testify is illegal and his testimony is critical. Bannon himself has already admitted publicly that he had crucial communications with Trump in the run-up to the attack on the Capitol. And on his podcast the day before the insurrection took place, he made it clear what he expected to happen:

"All hell is going to break loose tomorrow. Just understand this. All hell is going to break loose tomorrow. It’s gonna be moving. It’s gonna be quick."

The committee took the correct action and now the full House will soon vote to follow their lead and send the criminal contempt complaint to the Department of Justice to prosecute. Bannon could face a massive fine or even jail time, but only if the DOJ follows through.
