The Domestic Workers Movement needs us to show up!
In July, the National Domestic Workers Bill of Rights was introduced by Senator Kamala Harris and Representative Pramila Jayapal to fundamentally change the way we value care and work in our homes - and the work of women!
As of September 1, there are 48 co-sponsors of the bill, H.R. 3760. This is because leaders like Nikki Brown Booker have urged their representatives to join this movement!
Our goal is to reach 75 co-sponsors by the end of the year. Will you join a local legislative visit in October or phone action day to contact your own representatives to urge them to sign on?
