Unite Summit Strike Fund Pledge

On March 31, Cesar Chavez Day, members of Unite Summit, the union representing educators at the seven Summit charter schools in the Bay Area, will be voting to authorize a strike.

After over two years of bargaining, the remaining issues include a 2-year probationary period so that educators can advocate for their students without fear of retaliation, appropriate class sizes for English Learners, and not allowing Summit management to waive the contract during emergencies.

While we hope a strike isn't necessary, we are preparing. In the event Unite Summit has to strike in order to gain a first contract, we are raising pledges for our strike fund. If a strike is necessary, we will provide information on how you can fulfill your pledge.

Thank you for your support for our teachers, our students, and our schools!
