Virginia Outreach to African American Voters

Black Votes Matter 2017 is a critical years for Black Voters in Virginia because so much is at stake with the 2017 Gubernatorial and General Assembly elections. We can make real change on over-criminalization, police misconduct, poverty, education, and mass incarceration with these elections .

The Virginia State Conference NAACP along with many other participating organizations has committed to reaching 240,000 voters throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. We have setup our Voter Activation Network to allow you to canvass (knock on doors), call from home from 11am til 9pm (Virtual Phonebank) or organize a community phonebank in your neighborhood.

We want to know how you are able to support our voter registration and what we can do to ensure your success.

Phonebank from Home
Regardless of where you live, you can make phone calls n any of the targeted districts in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We have lists of unregistered voters for Central Virginia, Northern Virginia, Hampton Roads and Southwest Virginia

Training
We can setup group or individual trainings so that you can make the best use of the Voter Activation Network. It is critical that the results from canvassing or phonebanking are immediately entered into the VAN so that we can assess how much work still needs to be done.
