These are the issues Tyson Teamsters want fixed in this next contract:
- Wages and health care benefits have fallen behind while the cost of everything else keeps rising. We get no cost-of-living adjustments, and JBS is paying four dollars more per hour than our facility. That’s a slap in the face. We need compensation that rewards experience and keeps us competitive.
- Schedules and overtime are out of control—we have to endure last-minute changes, forced overtime, and no work-life balance. We need stable hours, a guaranteed 40-hour week, and fair, seniority-based policies.
- We need time off for vacation, sick leave, and breaks. These are basics—not perks.
Keep the pressure on the company by getting involved because when we stand together, we win.
