Alongside members of the Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression (CAARPR), who have been leading the fight for real police accountability in Chicago, Chicago DSA is having a strategy meeting to help win a Civilian Police Accountability Council (CPAC). We will be discussing how to counter weaker alternatives that have been put forward, why CPAC is important to advocate for, and next steps for Chicago DSA in this fight.
