Now, more than ever, we must come together in commitment to our shared humanity, and in commitment to equity and justice. In this critical moment, we pledge to take action to:

• Defend and support immigrants, working families, Muslims, people of color, trans and gender nonconforming people, LGBTQ people, Jewish people, mothers, refugees, and disabled people.
• Support living wages, affordable and accessible health care, paid family leave, paid sick leave, and child care for all workers.
• Support fully funded public education that respects our teachers and the future of our children.
• Oppose racially-biased policing and mass incarceration.
• Support the health and dignity of all people living in North Carolina regardless of their gender presentation or sexual orientation.
• Oppose deportations that tear apart families and harm our communities.
• Educate ourselves and contribute to existing grassroots organizations that are on the frontlines of this work in our communities, especially organizations led by women and gender non-conforming people of color.

We are the #NoisyMajority, and we will take our state back from the #NewConfederacy. Join us in the beginning of a fight for our lives. North Carolina will see us again and again, in the streets and at the ballot box!
