Workforce Adjustment - Alternation Registration

CAPE has created a password protected Alternation Site to facilitate members seeking to leave the public service switching places (alternating) with members who are opting or surplus and want to remain in the public service. For the time being this system is only available to members of the EC and TR groups.

• Alternation (échange de postes) – occurs when an opting employee or a surplus employee who is surplus as a result of having chosen Option 6.4.1(a) wishes to remain in the core public administration and exchanges positions with a non-affected employee (the alternate) willing to leave the core public administration with a Transition Support Measure or with an Education Allowance.
• CAPE lists only members wanting to leave the Federal Public Service via alternation (the alternate)
• Once you have completed this form, membership will be verified by CAPE before it is made available to CAPE members on our password protected page of the CAPE website.
