The referendum is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to catalyse progress on the issues First Nations communities have been fighting for for generations.
Democracy in Colour members across New South Wales are planning to chalk the streets in different suburbs - are you interested to join a group to chalk the streets of Blacktown with Write YES messages?
You don’t need any special skills to participate in chalking! Just enter your details and an organiser will be in touch. You’ll meet other like minded people, have fun and be creative!
There will be a short induction at the start of the session and you will be chalking in groups with pre-prepared Write YES messages.
A Yes outcome will allow us to move towards transformative change that First Nations communities have been advocating for for decades — truth-telling, treaty, land rights, representation, meaningful First Nations-led justice and holding politicians within Governments to account. Come along to chalk the streets with us!
Are you interested to chalk the streets with Write YES messages for this life-changing moment in the fight for First Nations justice? Sign up today !

We acknowledge that we live, work and play on Aboriginal land, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and future. We wish to acknowledge that many of us are beneficiaries of ongoing and historical colonial violence. Sovereignty was never ceded.
