Your Story: Why Is the Postal Service Important to You

One of the best ways to make sure that the people we elect support our public Postal Service is to tell our stories.

The U.S. Postal Service helps us in so many ways. It brings us our prescriptions. It keeps commerce moving. It stitches rural communities together. It is a part of the very fabric of America's society. And at this crisis, it's more important than ever before.

We want everyone to tell their stories. Use this form to explain why the USPS is important to you.

What does it mean to have a service that will take a letter or package from your community to anywhere in the US for a flat rate set price?

What does it mean to have a letter carrier bring the mail every day, or see a friendly face at a Post Office window?

How would it affect you if that were taken away from you?

By submitting your story, you agree for the USMailNotForSale campaign and members of a Grand Alliance to Save our Public Postal Service to use and edit your story and any images you submit.

This is not a form for USPS employees to report to their union breaches of their National Agreements or the COVID MOUs. If you are a postal union member, you should report any issues to your supervisor and/or your local union so it can be addressed in a timely manner.
