In response to how we’re seeing the current health crisis impact the Columbus population, we will be collecting non-perishable food donations and financial donations aimed at serving the undocumented population.
Many of these people work in the food service and hospitality industry, which has already been hard-hit. We expect it to directly impact other industries as well. These people are already quite vulnerable and cannot access government resources because they do not have legal status.
Physical donations can be dropped off Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm at Simakovsky Law 460 E Main St Columbus, Ohio 43215. There will be a donation box right outside of our door (inside the building).
Requested supplies include:
beans
rice
canned items
corn tortillas
diapers
baby formula
potatoes
pasta
bread
Maria cookies
instant coffee
paper products
Monetary donations will be used to purchase supplies on the list and other necessary items as needs rise.
Simakovsky Law is following all of the CDC guidelines as well as directives from the Columbus Health Department. They will remain open as long as it is safe and legal to do so.
