Dear WEA Colleague,
During this year’s legislative session, Wyoming Education Association members, Active and Retired, worked with our education partners across the state to support Wyoming’s public education system. Although Wyoming schools will suffer from reduced funding of $27.2 million over the next two years, public education was saved from the massive cuts initially proposed.
Each election cycle, the WEA works to find and elect education-friendly legislative candidates. To do this effectively we need your help. By giving to WEA’s Political Action Committee for Education (WEA-PACE), WEA can continue to help elect education-friendly legislators who believe that a high quality public education is something every Wyoming student deserves.
Will you contribute at least $20 in ‘18 to elect education-friendly legislature?
WEA has nearly 4,500 active and retired members. If every member contributes $20 in ‘18, just think what a significant difference our PACE dollars will can make in this year’s election. Please donate today!
Need inspiration? WEA Retired is running a PACE Fundraising campaign among our retired members. Since April, your retired colleagues have donated $3281.00 to WEA-PACE with a total year to date contribution of nearly $4200.00!
It is crucial that Wyoming voters elect officials who respect the constitutional promise of a quality education and who will work to establish stable public education funding for our state. Your donation will help us do that!
We deeply appreciate what you do to make Wyoming's public schools great places for kids!
Kathy Vetter, WEA-PACE Chairwoman
P.S. Consider donating $50 to become a Pacesetter, or even $100 to join the elite SuperPacetter group of donors. Your contribution WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the landscape of education for our children, grandchildren, our neighbors' children, and all students in Wyoming.
