Merrimack Valley Project (MVP) unites faith, labor, and community leaders and organizations toward social, racial, and economic justice. We develop leaders, strengthen civic engagement, and build collective power to advance systemic change across the Merrimack Valley.
Due to Executive Director Julio Mejia’s extraordinary grant-writing efforts and your support, this year we increased our staff to the largest it’s been in over a decade.
But sustainers– folks who donate on a monthly basis– would allow us to funnel money where it is needed most, without grant restrictions. Our goal is to bring on 50 monthly Most Valuable Players of Merrimack Valley Project (MVP MVPs, if you will), which would give us a $5000 matching donation! This would let us increase our leadership development pipeline, policy advocacy work, and civic engagement work; strengthening our democracy.
If we’re going to fight for the world we imagine, we need to scale up even more, and shift the way we fund our movement. This new monthly sustainer program allows you to directly support our efforts to bring social, racial, and economic change to the Merrimack Valley.
Will you join me in becoming an MVP MVP? We know that times are tough for many in our communities so please give what is meaningful for you.
