The petition campaign to get a statewide referendum against Senate Bill 1 on the November 2025 ballot is an expensive endeavor. We need to raise funds for the printing of petitions.
One reason we are fighting against Senate Bill 1 is because we need to send a message to the General Assembly: You Don't Mess With Labor Rights. As such, we are utilizing unionized print shops across the state for the printing of the petitions.
Each set of 150 petitions runs about $275. We estimate needing 12,000 petitions to get enough valid signatures across Ohio.
There are, of course, other fees associated with running this campaign: clipboards, pens, gas, banker boxes, website hosting, etc.
This effort is 100% volunteer run. We do not have major donors or sponsors. We do not have paid petitioners. That is why every contribution you can give matters so much. Big or small or in-between - it all counts.
