As a long-time board member, lobbyist and friend, Pete Price had a profound impact on Community Alliance with Family Farmers, pushing forward our mission in ways that few people ever could. Working tirelessly in the halls of Sacramento since as far back as the 1990s, Pete was determined to give small farms a voice in a process that so often overlooked them. He took the concerns, needs and aspirations of our community and strived to turn them into tangible policy reforms, benefiting local food systems, rural communities and agricultural practices that work in sync with our natural world. Pete dedicated over two decades to this organization because he believed in its vision. We are deeply in debt to his legacy. He was taken too soon, but if you would like to help keep his work going, we invite you to donate to CAFF in his name, assuring the groundwork he laid will be built upon by generations to come. Thank you for everything, Pete.
