Tri-Cities TN/VA Mutual Aid is raising funds to help a member who is having difficulty securing vital medical treatments because of their home electric situation.
This person relies on solar-powered electricity for online/phone communication. Currently, they are using solar panels but have a battery inadequate to sustain charge. They are disabled and use the Net Trans transportation system to get to dialysis kidney treatments three times a week. They have to secure rides to access this transportation via phone call/online.
Because of the current battery's poor function, this has become an issue. There is the constant chance that they won’t be able to guarantee their transportation to the treatment center. This risks their health and puts their life on the line.
They are in need of an AutoCraft Marine Pro battery and a 500W power inverter to power the solar panels and ensure a reliable electric set up in their home.
Given the nature of the situation this person is in, this fundraiser is urgent. We are looking to raise $200 by the end of the weekend, or by Monday, May 25th. We would appreciate any donations and/or shares.
