Send 30 Young Korea Peace Activists to Washington, DC This July!

We are raising $30,000 to send 30 young Korea peace activists from across the country to Korea Peace Action: National Mobilization to End the Korean War, July 26-28, 2023, in Washington, DC. This national convening will include powerful voices for Korea peace — members of divided families, veterans and former military leaders, humanitarian aid workers, nuclear experts, and others — to call on Congress and President Biden to support a peace settlement. The participation of these young leaders will be crucial to sustain this movement and reinvigorate our goal to end war.

This fundraiser is in honor of the late Hyun Lee, one of the most prominent and beloved leaders of the Korea peace movement. One of Hyun’s final wishes was to cultivate the next generation of Korea peace activists.
