Enough is enough. We, the youth, believe that #thisisZeroHour to act on climate change. We cannot afford to wait any longer for adults to protect our right to the clean and safe environment, the natural resources we need to not just survive, but flourish. We are the leaders we have been waiting for!
The mission of Zero Hour is to center the voices of diverse youth in the movement for climate and environmental justice. We are founded and led by youth, and we strive to hold our adults and elected officials accountable for their legacy of destruction and inaction when it comes to climate change. Our goal is to focus on the real needs of impacted communities and propose bold and concrete solutions to meet those needs.
Last summer, we took our demands to Washington, to state capitols, and to the streets in cities across the world! Youth spoke directly with elected representatives, followed by a march on July 21st to ensure that our voices are heard loud and clear as we organize for a safe, healthy, and livable future.
Our plans for 2019 will be monumental, and will continue Zero Hour's fight for climate justice for all young people and those on the front lines of the climate crisis. Stay tuned for the release of this event, available in the new year!
Zero Hour needs your help so that our youth activists can uplift the most important voices of this crisis by planning for our notable 2019 actions.
We ask all youth to join our movement and for adults to support our vision and amplify our voices!
