Katie Muth is a dynamic leader ready to take on Harrisburg and make effective change for the citizens of Pennsylvania. Born and raised in Western PA, Katie comes from a family founded on hard work, perseverance, and service to others. She drives change by creating opportunities and providing resources to those who seek to be active in their communities.

Shortly after the 2016 Presidential election, Katie met with local community members to organize a grassroots effort that gives a voice to those who want positive social change. Indivisible Mid Montco was born from that effort and serves as a channel to drive change. Katie is now the Chair of this group that has blossomed to include hundreds of members throughout the county. Their energy and passion have greatly contributed to Katie’s inspiration to run for State Senate.

Katie is ready to bring logic, compassion, and reason to Harrisburg, ensuring that an evidence-based approach is used to tackle problems in healthcare, education, and the economy. She will fight to ensure that freedom, balance, & progress are centered during the decision-making process for all legislation.

Katie is committed to creating protections for women and families including equal pay, affordable child care, livable wage and paid family leave. She believes that if federal protections cannot be implemented, state legislators should be working tirelessly to ensure these freedoms are available to everyone.

Pennsylvania can be a place where everyone has opportunities to succeed, a place where equality advances prosperity, and a place where no one is left out or left behind. Katie is running for State Senate to ensure Pennsylvanians have access to that opportunity. Her dedication to service, advocacy for positive social change, and protection of our freedom is why she will BE THE CHANGE that State Senate District 44 needs and that Pennsylvania deserves.
