2018 - Mike Zabel for PA House 163

An Advocate for Delaware County

"Should things go wrong at any time, the people will set them to rights by the peaceable exercise of their elective rights." - Thomas Jefferson

My name is Mike Zabel, and I'm running for state representative in Pennsylvania's 163rd legislative district because we need a change. Harrisburg is a mess.

Today, we have a state government run by Republicans from districts in central and western Pennsylvania, hundreds of miles away.  These guys don’t care about Delaware County, and our local Republican politicians can't (or won't) stand up to their bosses.

It isn’t fair to Havertown, Drexel Hill, Clifton Heights, and Aldan. Our taxes are too high, our schools are underfunded, and it seems like every other day there’s a new cut in public services, or an attack on environmental protections.  Enough is enough.

I want to go to Harrisburg and fight for you, so I’m asking for your support.

Here’s what I’ll promise you: I’m not beholden to any special interests.  You get me, not somebody who faithfully obeys party bosses or is owned by deep-pocketed donors.  I’ll fight for what is best for our hometowns.  Delaware County will take a backseat to no one.

I’m ready to do it, but I need your help.  Let’s make change happen.
