BYP100 Chicago

Chicago, IL

We are BYP100 Chicago! Since our formation in 2013, on the heels of a verdict that found Trayvon Martin’s murder legal, we have been imagining and organizing a community where the destruction of Black folks is out of the question. Our activism is centered around a Black queer feminist political lens and shaped by a deep attentiveness to the liberation of our most marginalized people. We’re inspired by Black joy, the strength of our peers, our families, and the ripple effect of Black Liberation struggles before us. Check out a timeline of our work in the chapter.
