Denver Community Food Access Coalition
The Denver Community Food Access Coalition tackles hunger in our community, including:
Immediate hunger relief like food pantries and urban agriculture
Long-term solutions addressing root causes, from racial equity to living wage jobs
We believe every family should have the nutritious food they need to be healthy and thrive – but one in three families go hungry every day in Denver. Our food system – made up of parts like farmers, the food industry, consumers, and government – is out of balance. Low wages, the high cost of living, systemic racism, and other conditions disrupt the food ecosystem so people can’t get the healthy food they need.
